Convatec has a strong manufacturing network. Our robust set-up includes manufacturing sites in Denmark and Mexico to produce leading infusion sets. 3 Our manufacturing capabilities include manual, semi and fully automated manufacturing as well as extrusion and injection moulding.

Strong R&D competencies have enabled us to produce infusion sets like the MiniMed™ Mio™ Advance extended wear infusion set, which is the first and only infusion set capable of up to seven days of wear.
Developed in partnership with Medtronic, the device provides significant benefits for people around the world with diabetes, with an estimated plastic waste reduction of up to 50%.4
The technology is a major innovation in infusion sets, consisting of a novel inserter system and infusion set.
