Responding to strong demand
Increasing capacity to meet a growing demand for infusion devices is how we continue to deliver for our customers and their patients. We have previously doubled the capacity of our site in Denmark, making it the most advanced manufacturing site in the entire Convatec network.

Meeting a growing demand doesn’t mean compromising quality. We continue to enhance quality metrics and develop resilience by improving surge capacity during production.

We strive to be conscious of our impact on the world around us. The expansion of our manufacturing facility in Denmark included sourcing all electricity for the site from renewable energy sources. 3 Driving product innovation helps improve product sustainability, making products more friendly for our patients and the environment.

Innovative solutions
We have strong innovation capabilities for infusion sets with design focused on improving patient experience and convenience. Our Neria™ Guard product features fully automated insertion, ensuring for consistent application with a hidden needle.
We work closely with both medical device and pharmaceutical companies to develop innovative solutions together to ensure patients receive the treatment they need.
Case study
Strong R&D competencies have enabled us to produce infusion sets like the Medtronic Extended™ infusion set, which is the first and only infusion set capable of up to seven days of wear.
Developed in partnership with Medtronic, the device provides significant benefits for people around the world with diabetes, with an estimated plastic waste reduction of up to 50%.4
The technology is a major innovation in infusion sets, consisting of a novel inserter system and infusion set.
